I'd like to suggest one feature: a downloadable list of the products for offline use (easy printout etc).
Maybe this could be done with tags (something like BBCode)? Let's say I manually insert what I want on such a page, like [product_id], [price], etc..., then it pulls these info from the database and fills it into an html page.
Congratulations! Opencart is the already best cart available, I've been looking for a simple and still powerful script since ages. It surpasses Zencart and OSCommerce in most fields. And I will definitely follow it's development.
The only irritating thing is the editing of the products itself. One gets used to it very quickly but I can imagine it's hard to edit a lot of products in a row (e.g. if you want to change the price for all products in a given category). Maybe a mass editing page would come in handy, I think it's been elegantly solved in http://plogger.org/
