What does it do:
================
This mod allows you to show and enforce separate stock quantities for each customer group in your store.
So you can show 100 items in stock for Wholesale customers, but only 50 in stock for Normal users, etc
Requirements:

- vQmod 2.3.2 or later is required from
http://vQmod.com
Main features:
==============
* Inline system right on the Product edit page in the admin
* Single vQmod File
* Dynamically supports any number of Customer Groups
* "Real" stock qty still visible and used as the default qty if individual qty not set
* Defaults to "real" default qty if one is not set for the customer group
* Stock is enforced on the cart page, and subtracted during checkout for the appropriate group AND real quantity
* Works across all stores

Interesting. What's the intended use case for this? Only thing I can think of is to encourage customers to "order now because there's only 2 left!".

It was made for a client but I thought of some additional scenarios:
- Reserving Stock for Certain VIP Customer Groups
- Maintaining and "Always available" option for some while following normal qty for others
- Using 2 or more stores, if you have a separate store for normal users and a separate store for VIP users, you could maintain different quantities on a per-store basis.

It seem the search results are quite limited when it comes to customer groups on the Marketplace. If you can't find what you need on the Marketplace, you could create a new service request in the Commercial Support section of the forum to get this developed as a custom job.
