Overview
Sometimes option names or option value names are not very clear or self-explanatory and we cannot add more text to them on order not to clutter invoice or checkout pages.
This extension allows to add notes for options and option values do be displayed in smaller font just below option names or option values only on product pages during purchase to act as an additional info about options or option values to help customers understand what a field is for or what should be entered into a field.
Key features:
- OC v2.x ready while working on OC v1.5.x If you decide to upgrade to OC v2.x you won't need to install a new file, the same file will work fine on any version of OC.
- Backend changes Adds a new "Option Note" and "Option Value Note" fields for options in admin.
- Frontend product page changes Displays option notes and option value notes only on a product page just below option name or option value. Any other pages (like invoices, checkout, etc.) with options don't have option notes on them in order not to clutter them.
- Easy install Simply put option-notes.xml file into the vqmod/xml folder or install with vqmod.
- Multi-store compatible
Requirements:
- Opencart 1.x - 2.x
- vQmod
Installation:
Simply copy the option-notes.xml to vqmod/xml folder. No core files modified.
