Hi, as the title says it.
Let me explain my error I'm currently experiencing.

As my store is on preorder basis & stock inventory changes really fast, I will delete products at my backend almost everyday. So on my own personal account, I did some testing & realised that:

- I add eg. 2 products to my wish list
- Wish list shows 2 (counts)
- I proceed to DELETE both products from the back end, meaning can't be recovered anymore unless I add in manually again.
- Refresh wishlist
- Wishlists shows no products, but on the wish list (count), it still show as "Wish List (2)".

Not sure what went wrong since I didn't make any changes to the wishlist codes.
But I do have this VQmod for shared wishlist, but don't think it's affecting this wish list count.

Please help! Appreciate! Thank you!

I'm using Opencart 1.5.4.1 & vQmod 2.3.2.

i don;t think this is an end of the world bug.

wishlist counts are stored in the session. its not worth looping through each product to see if it exists. the wishlist page does this this when you visit and removes any products that don;t exsit.

i wouldn't bother deleting them.

why not just disable them until you get more stock.

Hello Danial,

Thank you for your reply! ;)

Yeah, I know it's not end of the world, but it just bugs me to see that count when wishlist is empty.

What do you mean by session? I'm sorry I don't understand.
It's like 1 week had already passed, yet I login still shows as 2 (counts) even though wishlist is empty.

Sadly to say, the wish list does remove products which doesn't exist, but the counts doesn't.

I can't keep the stocks as it's wasting space, plus out of stock products won't be restocked anymore.
Chances of restocking OOS items are 0.1%. Restocking items will just be disabled, but OOS I'll just delete.

I'm sure you've bigger bugs to solve, I'll just let it be then.
Thank you for your help!
