Hello, I have installed Opencart on my client server Configure it well all seems fine but while i was testing it then i found that when a purchase is made the oc Don't send an verification mail to client and alert mail to store admin also so i thought it might be something wrong with the config then i installed a fresh copy with no modification in a subdomain and same happens there then i thought it might be hosting issue so i tried simple mail script to test it and the script was working fine and sent emails without any issue.
So is there any bug in OC 1.5.6.1 which stopping it to sending email ...

Emails are working fine in all of my 1.5.6.1 installations. Check your Mail settings in the admin and use Mail for the Mail Protocol if you are not already and if you are and they are not working with it then check with your host and make sure they have the php mail function enabled. Also some things to check are is the email address for the admin correct. Is the New Order Alert Mail set to Yes. Are the emails working for the contact form and for new accounts.

YAHOO change their policy.... you can not send using @yahoo.com if not from their website or SMTP server. Use other email address!

Thank you, screenager8, your answer solved my mail problem - I have just change in Settings/General/Email from yahoo mail to shop domain email then everything goes ok now.
Thanks again :-)
P.S. I use 1.5.6 version of OC.
