what would you guys say is the best to use, or use both?

I think both is a good idea. Like means the current page will be sent to the persons profile saying "NAME likes a link." The share will do the same and allow that persons facebook friends to comment or like the activity. Put it this way, you won't lose out by having both

As per the matter of building social network and on the purpose of promoting your business world wide, "Share" is better option as compare to "Like". You can easily promote your products on this type of social networking website, which can be easily view by new users regularly.

I like facebook better

Both of them have different functionality. If I adore anything, i like it and share it to my friends.

Like is better. Has more edgerank too.
Also the Share button is now deprecated.

Use, FB Feed Dialog instead.

It depend on content , if it sees best content then I share that or if it's average than "like " it simply.

like is the biggest fun in F.B .. won't you think there should also be a dislike button?

Well I prefer both 'like' as well as 'share'. Both go hand in hand together at times. If you like something you surely like it and if you want to share it on your wall or send it as a message you have to share the post. Liking a post also is kind of sharing it out as people in your account have seen what you have liked. And if they like it is shared by them as well if they want to do so.
