Anyone trying Google's mod_pagespeed:

http://code.google.com/speed/page-speed ... odule.html

Does it affect the performance of OC ?

It does in a good way. You can analise Google Web masters > Labs and it'll show the fact that's decreasing the load time.

Yes it speeds up a little, but it depends on the website.
Pictures, size of javascript..

Opencart is very fast with or without page speed.
Did anyone try page speed with opencart?

Write me a comment: My OpenCart Website.
Very nice Webdesign is seldom.

Before using page speed i used to get 51/100,
and after using the score has gone upto 95/100,. also the site is lightning fast.
My webhost is providing this mod in cpanel, so i just enabled it from cpanel and wow...

Yes, i used this tool and happy to use this. This tool clearly tells us what we can do to improve the particular page's speed and how can we reduce the load time. :)

PageSpeed speeds up your site and reduces page load time. This open-source webserver module automatically applies web performance best practices to pages and associated assets (CSS, JavaScript, images) without requiring that you modify your existing content or workflow.

Pagespeed messes with the AJAX of the cart pages, giving issues with Access-Control-Allow-Origin.

As for installing Google Pagespeed, try this: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/ ... oud-server
