Hi, I am going to be opening an online only store. There will be no physical presence for the store but the LLC was created in NY.

We will take orders and pass the orders along to another company that will fulfill the order (a dropshipper). That company is based out of PA (and it will ship out of PA).

I am wondering how we need to tax our customers and if we do, what should the tax be based on? Also, what taxes do we have to pay? Thanks.

Best thing to do is contact your states Sales Tax Office or Department of Revenue. They can tell you. Every state is a little different.

Running Opencart v2.2 with multi-stores from http://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.
