Can you do something?
No. Because OpenCart does not provide any way to assign specials to options.

e.g.
Products can have a price and a special. So price - special = discount (you save)
Options only have price. So how does one calculate discount?

I understand:
ej:

price and a special. So price - special = discount (you save)
price by option and a special. So price more option - special = discount (you save)

is not possible, how i can set this special by options?

This is a very specific requirement and not generalizable, so paid custom work. PM me if you are interested in getting this done.

You can't.

That should not happen. If you don't have a special price, nothing from this extension should appear.

Are you using it with OC 1.5.3.1 / 1.5.4.1 ?
If yes, then you are probably using another mod that changes things around in the product page and is conflicting with this one.
Hello,
I use 1.5.3.1 and default theme, but I've got same problem.
I don't use vqmod (I'd problem with this), I change myself the files.

Thanks,

If you are not using vQmod and have problems with vQmod then all bets are off.

I decided to use yours as it does not conflict with any other vQmods I use.

Thanks (again)!

Hello OC2PS

Thank you for sharing this extension.

The extension works absolutely fine (I am using oc Version 1.5.4.1) straight out of the box so-to-speak.

I started as a total novice but as each day goes by, after reading all these comments in this forum etc, I learn something new.

My question (to you or anyone else able to guide me) is in regards to the following
Styling

You can change what the savings notice looks like by adding you-save class to your stylesheet.css e.g.

Code: Select all
.you-save {color:red;}
I have found the stylesheet.css

catalog - view - theme - default - stylesheet - stylesheet.css

Where-abouts in stylesheet.css do I add the following

.you-save {color:red;}

Thank you .... happy new year

Basically wherever you want.

Of course not. It is written for the Default theme. If there were a solution for making the mod work with every theme, I would have written a universal mod and that would be the end of it. Unfortunately, every theme is different, and so making the mod work with custom themes would be paid custom work.

You should periodically empty the error logs anyway.
vansanity wrote:could you tell us what we need to fix to not get these errors?
Copy catalog/language/english/product/product.php and place it in catalog/language/hungarian/product/ (you may need to create some new folders).
