Wordpress API/Affiliate Plugin

Hey Guys,

I understand that a couple people over in the Wordpress plugin community are developing a Opencart/Wordpress Bridge(http://wordpress.org/support/topic/open ... ntegration) which is great but what I'm looking for is an Opencart Affiliate/API Wordress plugin that operates simular to Amazon Product in a Post Plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ama ... st-plugin/)

The idea is that any Opencart affiliate that is running wordpress can easily connect into a stores database (affiliate username/password) and have access to information such as product name, description, image, price etc.

For a review site this would be ideal as the price will always be in realtime and would increase the likelyhood of the vistor to purchase that partiuclar product.

This probabaly would work well for other blogging CMS like Joomla aswell.

Hi,
I think that you can sometimes accomplish your goal with either an action or a filter. For example, if you want your plugin to change the text of a post, you might add an action function to publish_post (so the post is modified as it is saved to the database), or a filter function to the_content.

Is a opencart module + wordpress plugin.

It can display tag related products or widgets with bestsellers, specials random etc.. in a wordpress blog.

This is really great stuff. It’s always fun to see, how others work through things, like this. Starting a theme from scratch, is a quite difficult project, thanks for breaking it down for us!
