we have a vendo who has supplied a complete set of HTML / images for each of the products we carry
from their line, we would like to be able to integrate the products into opencart, using the stock html and images that the vendor supplied, however i dont see any simple way to achieve this.

well, I don't really see a Problem. It may take a little time, and work, and it depends on how this HTML looks
like, and if it uses additional Scripting and/or Stylesheet Code.

But basically, you could add the BODY Part of such a HTML Page Source into the Admin Product Page
Editor Source Code Modus Mask, then upload the images, possibly pre-sorted in individual Subdirectories,
by FTP onto your Shop Image Subdirectory. Then, you you re-link all those images into their correct place, in
the same Admin Product Section. And if your Products have/use OPTIONS, you have to create those the
regular OC-Way.
---
Otherways, you could fully use those HTML Pages on their own Site, and link the ADD TO CART Functions
directly with your Shop.
---
Link Cart (Share Your Cart)
https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... n_id=13731
---
Add to Cart via URL link
https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... n_id=11443
---
But you still have to add the Products to your OC Shop Inventory, the regular way, by Nature of things.
To give you some ideas on this! ;)
Good Luck
Ernie

The Export/Import tool should be able to do that. In what format (separate files, datafeed) are the HTML descriptions?

Export/Import Tool * SpamBot Buster * Unused Images Manager * Instant Option Price Calculator * Number Option * Google Tag Manager * Survey Plus * OpenTwig
