Now I've tried to disable my extensions without any success. Iv'e even tried to cut down the code in the xml file to just include the system/startup.php modification and the first operation at catalog/model/account/customer.php modification. Still when I try to edit the firstname in account I get a HTTP 500 error.
I'm using VQmod for OpenCart 2 http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... e=JNeuhoff instead of the ordinary VQMod. Can that be the problem?

Yeah, that made a mess of my website. That might be the problem.thbr02 wrote: I'm using VQmod for OpenCart 2 http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... e=JNeuhoff instead of the ordinary VQMod. Can that be the problem?

Uninstalled all my extensions and VQmod for OpenCart 2 and tried to install the slopy address...
and it really worked! Hope there wont be any conflicts between VQMod and OCMod. That why I decided to use the VQmod for OpenCart 2.
Thanks!

grgr, bit of an annoying little thing I haven't been able to work out - a local surname is Machin, which the address cleaner changes to MacHin - I added "Machin" to the exceptions array list but it still gets changed?
Any help appreciated
Any help appreciated
Stokey
I will need to put in a different exception or overrdide.
I will have to take a look at it and and submit an update to the extension.

You didn't say which OC version you are using.stokeyblokey wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2019 7:39 pmgrgr, bit of an annoying little thing I haven't been able to work out - a local surname is Machin, which the address cleaner changes to MacHin - I added "Machin" to the exceptions array list but it still gets changed?

Anyway, this has had a bit of a re-write for OC3 versions and I have added code/setting for your issue.
OC3 version comes with a admin module to set the exceptions etc.
