lol no there is no tracker table
This contrib does push forward for my ideas and future plans for a override or patch mod system. It would be gravely dangerous to change all the library files like that, just as it is any of the core files.
I suppose there won't be many more changes tho for 0.7.x and 0.8 will be a lot different, so its a good time to introduce a new mod design system to prevent overwriting core files like this

I installed this contrib today. 1. ran the SQL, then 2. copied the files. I got an admin menu item called "Service Type" where Product used to be. When I clicked on it it told me I did not have permission to access that page.
Additionally, all my Extensions were gone. When I clicked on Module, for example, I got a blank page.

The Permissions denied message just means you didnt add the permissions.
With opencart, by default a new component/module does not have any access. You need to go to the Admin->Configuration->User Group (or something like that) where you set the user group access. In there, select your group (probably 'Top Admins') and make sure to add the report_tracker (**Hold Ctrl key when clicking to ensure you add the report and do not deselect all other entries)

Actually, it was already done from a previous attempt at this contrib. I unselected it, saved it, and reselected it and saved it. Same problem. Other suggestions?
Does that explain why my Extensions all disappear?
Also, I've tried the manual edits. The 1. menu.tpl edit breaks my menu. The 2. string to paste below does not exist.
