Hi all, my "product" table has two additional columns called "base_price" and "base_currency_code". So, how i can add this columns to import/export in this extension?

Found it! Is this extension also capable of exporting products from one opencart, and importing them into another? Simply by insstalling the module on both installation? Ive tried but i get blanks imported, when i select replace names with id's, an error is given: Uploaded spreadsheet file has validation errors!
See also 'System > Tools > Error Logs' for more details.
No server data has been changed.

So i guess that won't work, but maybe i'm missing something...

appreciate the help and the extension!

This question has been asked multiple times before. You most likely uploaded the files to the wrong place because of a missing or wrong value in System > Settings > edit Store > tab FTP > FTP Root

You can add support for these 2 additional fields via a VQmod XML script which would modify the admin/model/tool/export_import.php file. Or we can do it for you for a small charge, contact us here.

Hi,

I am using "Opencart SEO Pack PRO" on my multilingual website (OC2.0.3.1).

Could anybody advise how can I export and import the multilingual SEO Keywords via "Multilingual Export/Import for OpenCart 2.x"? Does a standard version of "Multilingual Export/Import for OpenCart 2.x" support for that? Or should I apply a modified version from JNeuhoff ;D ?

Raymond

Our Export/Import tool is designed for standard OpenCart versions. However, we can add support for any additional DB fields introduced by 3rd party extensions via VQmod XML scripts, for a small charge. You can contact us here.

Hi there. Running v3.7 of import export, also tried on 3.6. Keep getting a 404 error if i try export my whole product list. No errors logged. All my php settings are fine, iv checked, double checked and confirmed with my VPS host. I can export categories and products in batches but not my whole list (10 000+ products). I see the same problem here http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php ... 01#p641701 ... No resolution though. Please advise. ;D

OC2.0.1.1

10 000 products is quite a lot. Realistically you won't be able to do more than 2000 to 4000 products at a time. The Export/Import uses the 3rd party PHPExcel library which happens to be quite memory hungry. You may want to try the phpTemp cache settings to reduce the memory requirements a bit.

Thanks for the reply. Even a 4000 batch does not go, before i could do 10 000 in a few mins. Tried the phptemp cache as well.
The only thing that has changed is we switched from apache + suPHP to apache + fastCGI on our VPS. But user and global php config has not changed.

Are you perhaps aware of any specific settings with fastCGI that need to be applied?

The main disadvantage of the FastCGI handler is that it can be very memory intensive. This is because FastCGI keeps PHP sessions opened in the background in memory for quicker access and the ability to use PHP opcode caching can add to the memory usage as well. I think unless your Opencart server is heavily bombarded with requests you'd be better off with suPHP.

Hi. I really love this extension.
I want to add a new tab for a special extension I have made.
But it looks hard to make a new one easy. To only make a new field like "isbn" for example isnt so much work.
But I need to have 8 new fields. Thats why I need a new tab.

Does anyone know where in the export_import file I need to edit to get a new tab?
I know it is file: admin/model/tool/export_import.php

Thanks.

I have been using this for two years. Today I exported and did a clean install.
Will not import correctly. I changed nothing.
2016-11-24 1:25:32 - Export/Import: Undefined option_name '21' used in worksheet 'ProductOptions'!
It is defined, as "false" (with no quotes).
Thanks.

Are you still using the same Export/Import tool settings? E.g.

Use option_id instead of option name in worksheets 'ProductOptions' and 'ProductOptionValues'
Use option_value_id instead of option_value name in worksheet 'ProductOptionValues'

This is the file exported by the extension

Hi JN! Thanks for your extension. I have a problem I use mac with numbers for import/export. I export the products save on Numbers for Mac and then without any mods I save the file as Excel.xlsx and import to opencart. Opencart give me an error:

2016-11-25 9:55:00 - Export/Import: Missing product_ids in worksheet 'Discounts'!
2016-11-25 9:55:00 - Export/Import: Missing product_ids in worksheet 'ProductFilters'!
2016-11-25 9:55:00 - Export/Import: Missing customer_groups in worksheet ‘Discounts'!

If I open the Microsoft excel xlsx file I get this in the Discount tab:
Image

If I open Mac Numbers I get this in the Discount tab:
Image

I really can't find the difference between the 2 files.

I don't have the microsoft exel licence then I can't modify the file.

I'm included in this post 2 files:

1) The .xlsx file exported by the extension
2) The same file opened in Mac Numbers and then saved as a .xlsx file

I'll appreciate your help. Thanks JN!

artgarcia: This same question has been posted so many times now. At the danger of repeating myself: Your error messages about missing product_ids are generated because you have invisible trailing blank lines. Why can't you use OpenOffice or LibreOffice?

Hi JNeuhoff!

Would it be possible for you to also include the related Download id's for each Product in the export/import?
The would be very helpful.

Hi, thanks for the mod! Can you add a feature to specify all product filters in the one signle Excel cell, like this:

Code: Select all

product_id filter_group filter_name
1 some_group filter1|fil2|flt3|more
2 othergrp otherflt1|othflt2|and_so_on
instead of standard way:

Code: Select all

product_id filter_group filter_name
1 some_group filter1
1 some_group fil2
1 some_group flt3
1 some_group more
