Thank you for the great add on.

I just downloaded this export/import tool add on and following the instruction installing this add on in my freshly installed OC 2.0. No other add on, no code modified in my OC 2.0. During the installation in the extension installer, it pops up an error ms as following:

____________

Method Not Implemented

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">

</p>
<p>Additionally, a 404 Not Found
error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.</p>
</body></html>

I have no idea what is it about.

Anybody please let me know how to fix this issue. thank you

I am not able to reproduce your error. The error message is not conclusive.

Best thing to do: Do a comlete re-install of your OC2, and the get the latest Export/Import Tool V2.14, and try to install again. If it comes up with the same error, let me know, you can send me a PM with your FTP and OpenCart login details so I can see what's wrong.

Having the same issue as the previous poster.

Image

same as issue as above folks, fresh install version 2 and the export/import module get stuck about half way and shows the same error as the others as below

Method Not Implemented

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">

<p>Additionally, a 404 Not Found
error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.</p>
</body></html>

thank you

it also appears with other extension installs perhaps something with our servers and not the export/import extension, any help greatly appreciated

First of all, good job on the new release of Export/Import, really appreciate it.

Regarding the extension, it produce an error in which I am not able to find any solutions via Google therefore I decided to raise the issue over here. Here goes:

1) I downloaded the 'opencart-2-0-0-x-export-import-multilingual-2-14.ocmod.zip' files from the official extension page
2) My OC2.0 is a fresh install with no other extension uploaded
3) I've configured the Setting > FTP properly
4) Tested with 'Quick Fix' extension and it works fine
5) Now when I upload 'opencart-2-0-0-x-export-import-multilingual-2-14.ocmod.zip' and..
6) HOLYS**T IT WORKS ALL OF A SUDDEN!?? :choke:

Upon writing the above part, it was still few hours back before I give up and go to sleep.
Here is the error it produce last night:

"Could not change to directory system/PHPExcel/Classes/PHPExcel/Shared/Escher/DggContainer/BstoreContainer/BSE"

I don't if anyone else ever stumble upon this error before.
Anyway, thank you again for the great extension. Thanks to this error I've finally decided to give a feedback on a forum

Could be an issue with OpenCart's installer. Have you tried this installer fix?

BTW.: Most likely there will be an entry in your server's error_log, ask your webhost for it,

yes have installed that fix, installed ok straight away,
did try the normal manual ftp straight onto server, can your extension be manually uploaded?
just want to get my listings back up using opencart 2.

Heh, I think many people are turning to this extension as an alternative to the broken upgrade tool.

I didn't think I was the only one that came up with this idea... before the 501 error that is.

I guess I will deal and stick with 1.5.6.4 for now till things on the 2.0 end are ironed out.

Best of luck dev. I will keep an eye on this thread to keep track of progress.

At first, thanks for this gorgeous module - it saves me a lot of time, really :)

I have installed the latest: opencart-2-0-0-x-export-import-multilingual-2-16.ocmod.zip and everything works fine except one thing, that someone also mentioned in comments below OC page of this module.

"@JNeuhoff , once i export the category and modify couple of them in excel. and trying to import back, I notice categories disappear, any reason ?
I just checked the Admin panel, if i m making the store to default selection, its appearing. should there be a fix ?"

I have a same issue - after success import of product or categories they never appears since I click on Stores default checkbox inside Data tab of product/category editation.

Is there any workaround or quick fix for this?
Thanks for any suitable answer :)

I am not sure what you are talking about, I can't reproduce your error. Make sure you fill in the store_id, e.g. '0', in the store_ids column, also in the status column, it needs to be set to 'true'.

I get a fatal error when importing:

I have the same issue as ZAX.

The 'status' in the spreadsheet is OK and is imported correctly, but the 'store_ids' however is not imported.
When I export the categories with the 'store_ids' checked in admin, the spreadsheet is OK ('store_ids' = 0), and I import the unmodified exported file again, all 'store_ids' are wiped.

***EDIT***
Changing the values of stores_id to " '0 " solved the issue for me. If I'm correct this forces the cell value to text instead of number.

Use the latest Export/Import V2.17 which has a bugfix, or rather a workaround, because the underlying PHPExcel or spreadsheet software doesn't always distinguish between null and 0 correctly. Also, use OpenOffice or LibreOffice which sees the store_ids column formatted correctly as text format.

Yes if you use OpenCart 2.0.0.0, not 2.0.0.1. There is an Extension Installer fix available.

Is it possible to include export / import of Filters in the extension?

Great tool by the way... thanks.
