postcode + weight based shipping

Hi everyone,
I was wondering whether there is a shipping solution for OpenCart (with Joomla 2.5) which will allow me to setup something like this:
Up to 500gr $7.50 (all postcodes)
for parcels over 500gr it is weight & postcode based.
Like:
postcodes 2000-3000 500gr - 1kg $12
postcodes 3000-4000 500gr - 1kg $16
Postcodes 2000-3000 1kg - 2kg $25
Postcodes 3000-4000 1kg - 2kg $32
Etc.
will i be able to set this up somehow?

Your formula based shipping is work for shipping based on weight + city source to city destination ?
For example:
1. City A to city B for weight
W<=1KG: $2
W > 1KG - 5KG: $2+($1/KG)

2. City A to city C for weight
W<=1KG: $3
W > 1KG - 5KG: $4+($1/KG)

Every KG is $1, if roundup weight more than 0.5 will be cost more $1:
1KG: $1

The source is always the store location -- there are no shipping extensions that change this. But as long as all your rates are based on a City Source of A (i.e. your store location), yes it would work. You would set up three rates like so:

1. One for City B postcodes, with a weight-based rate type, and cost brackets of:
From: 0, To: 1, Charge: 2.00
From: 1, To: 5, Charge 1.00, Per (kg): 1
From: 5, To: 7, Charge: 0.50, Per (kg): 1
From: 7, To: 99999, Charge: 0.30, Per (kg): 1
Final Cost: Cumulative

2. One for City C postcodes, with a weight-based rate type, and cost brackets of:
From: 0, To: 1, Charge: 3.00
From: 1, To: 5, Charge 1.00, Per (kg): 1
From: 5, To: 7, Charge: 0.50, Per (kg): 1
From: 7, To: 99999, Charge: 0.30, Per (kg): 1
Final Cost: Cumulative

3. One for City D postcodes, with a weight-based rate type, and cost brackets of:
From: 0, To: 1, Charge: 1.00

From: 2.5, To: 3.5, Charge: 3.00

Also with this will your extension work for dimension (l x w x h) + postcode ?
The condition is will have both depend in the products has dimension and sime are not

Formula-Based Shipping can restrict based on individual item sizes, but it checks against each item. So if you restrict the first rate, for example, to have an item minimum length of 5 cm, then it will only be active if all items have a length over 5 cm.

If you're instead looking for volumes, you would use the Volume fields. Please take a look at the demo and test it out to see if it would work for you, since it sounds like your set-up is actually more complex than originally described.
