Hello guys,

After numerous attempts I got my setup to work (OC 1.5). First followed OC's tutorial on setting up Paypal Standard (make sure you include the UTF8 encoding). Not much luck there. Their latest comment got me thinking though. You need curl and all related libraries to get things working (Ubuntu):

sudo apt-get install curl libcurl3 libcurl3-dev php5-curl
Then we need to restart apache
apache2ctrl restart

and voila everything worked fine!

I am having this issue on version 1.5.4 using PayPal Pro and have tried every solution I can find on the OC forums - please could someone advise on any other possibilities?

Hi MikeSCC i have started to experience the same issues with 1.5.4. Did you find a solution?

The strange thing is that it was working fine the past couple of months. what about you?

hi .........
even i am facing the same problem with ccavenue payment gateway. Bluezeal has provided me with the extension but i am successfully able to process the order on the gateway but i find the order in missing order with no product and other details. Can anyone over here help me out with this issue ?????????????????????????

I've had OpenCart 1.5.2 working fine for many months, then I started to get PayPal payment notification, but no OpenCart order notification. I had to find the orders in "missing orders" and manual set them to complete before my customers can download. This system sucks as both my customer and I don't get the email from OpenCart about the order.

I didn't have PayPal IPN turned on before, when it was working. When I got the problems I turned it on, however it made no difference. The IPN History page said re-trying and the IPN Message box was empty, the Notification URL was blank and there was no Response Code listed. I also seem th remember that the "last date tried" said 1985. Very strange.

I have upgraded to 1.5.4.1 (although it only says "1.5.4" at the bottom of the admin area) and put through an order and I'm getting the same thing - no new order email and can only find in "missing orders".

Any help very much appreciated.

I too am having this exact same problem with orders showing as missing. Problem occurs with Paypal, Google Checkout, NoChex.

I am hosted with fasthosts and they too confirm no IP or Port blocking.

I use Opencart for 2 websites and both have the same issue.

I also have another 2 OC websites hosted with 123-reg and these work fine.

Is there a work-around to get the orders come through as pending/processing?

Also, as the orders are coming in as missing, the stock is not deducting correctly. Any one else have this stock deducting problem?

Anyone got any other ideas/suggestions?

It's possible that the problem is not with OpenCart or with PayPal. My investigations have led me to believing that the IP address of the server where my shop is hosted is being blocked elsewhere i the Internet.

I set up OpenCart 1.5.4 on 2 different servers with the same Paypal standard set up. I tested with Paypal sandbox on both. It worked straight away on the first but not on the second for some reason. Tried Sandbox testing - even got the OpenCart success page on the second server with the order ID but didn't appear in Orders section (only under missing orders). Really stuck now!

Hi,

In the end it appeared that between PayPal and AT&T they blocked the 1&1 IP address, stopping any payments being made.
