Error When Setting up Downloads

Good Day,

Can someone please help me.

When i try to setup a downloadable product via CATALOG>DOWNLOADS, i get the following error message:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Can someone please advise on what the problem could be and how to go about fixing it.
