Hi
I have a few customers on my site that have multiple employees that they wish to give access to for logging into our store to make purchases.. Ideally they want to be able to give out different passwords to each users so they can keep a tab on who is purchasing what and when... Is there any way we could have that facility
I would really appreciate any advice/suggestions on this
Cheers
Steve
Hopefully not. This would be against users privacy on websites.Ideally they want to be able to give out different passwords to each users so they can keep a tab on who is purchasing what and when...

A point I haven't justified on my previous post is the Business concept. If a specific employee is no longer an employee and this employee used to have 300 clients on that group. Would it be worth to loose 300 clients for a single employee affected on that group ? That would definitely create issues in the Business.

Hi
Im not sure that you have understood what i meant... i must not have explained it very well
One customer of mine for example has say 100 employees and he wants 8 of them to be able to order from the site for the companies clients, not for their own clients but from the companies own database.. the idea of the employees having their own password is so that at any time the company knows who has ordered what, there isnt a privacy issue here as the employees are being asked to order on behalf of the company, all this system does is make the admin a lot smoother on their part as i dont have to create 8 separate accounts that all have to be logged into to see order history etc.. one account holds all the transactions, returns etc
I guess another way to do it would be to have a Purchase order number field or something like that where the employees have to put their name there on the order... if i get an order with no name i refer it back to the company... not as smooth as the other idea though
anyone have any better ideas on how to get around this?
Cheers
