I would also add deduct stock from multiple products at once.mystifier wrote:A relationship between multiple product options that allows stock control would dwarf any other requirement.

Q. How many large/blue jumpers in stock?
A. I have no idea
is a complete show-stopper for me.
the feature would be bundle products into 1. Ie When creating a new product having the possibility to deduct stock from multiple products.
It should be pretty easy to add this basic feature and I guess it will help a lot of shop owners.
Also maybe back-compatible system for themes maybe a good thing.
If a template backbone is stabil, then just a little fixing, every version can use existing theme...

Dear Danial
Good work on OC 1.5.X. This is the most user-friendly cart at present.
I request the following features
1. Dynamic currency conversion - For example, if i have default currency as INR, it should automatically gets converted to USD before reaching to paypal.
2. We are running a service item site. If we have ability to ask visitor to put specific requirement details in a form during purchase process and those details get mailed to admin with order details, it will be really nice. Alternatively ability to put custom extra form fields just above order comments will be helpful.
Regards

Yes very Noice!! but expensive, this one is free if OC add a small link on the dashboard.
As per FAQs:
Q: Can I use amCharts for free?
A: Yes, the only limitation of the free version is that a small link to this web site will be displayed in the top left corner of your charts.

Hello! I'm Hermes, I live in Brazil and in the last four months apprehended to love OpenCart.
The OpenCart is an excellent way but I would propose something:
Being created a set of standards for marking. Where who develops extensions only concentrate on features and template developer would focus only on the layout.
So both work over the same set of marking rules and our beloved OpenCart will be more comprehensive. Not to mention that the incompatibility between extensions and themes would be practically zero.
Another issue that we have seen day by day is the increased access via mobile devices. It would be nice if the OpenCart native already had the mobile access to the customer or the admin.
I think these two issues would be a next step to OpenCart.
My suggestion here is something like the following framework Bootstrap HTML / CSS / JS: http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/
might see as the documentation is extensive and well detailed.

MODS as good as they are for OC SHOULD have a tag stating OC APPROVED!!! - There is a rediculous amount of mods out there that are pretty bad that you try and discard - OC Looks great - works in theory, but is a whopping great bottleneck for numerous reasons
1 - Its too slow - CSS and Java requests need to be looked at
2 - Category retrieval is crazy slow - unlimited categories? unlimited products? OC CANNOT boast of this yet
PLEASE TRY AND IMPROVE THE EFFICIENCY OF OC ABOVE ANY OTHER BELL OR WHISTLE FEATURE - YOUR TIME IS FAR BETTER SPENT DOING THIS THAN INVENTING FANCIFUL ALTERATIONS TO A PRODUCT THAT DOES NOT WORK THAT WELL WHEN TESTED IN THE FIELD

Drag and Drop Cart !
Life is a Gift! and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more......
There is a feature that is missing that i think is quite important. I use RBS WorldPay as my payment gateway but i would like to offer subscription based payments. This is called RBS FuturePay. Would this be something that you could add to the core or do you know of a developer willing to design this for me as a module?
Thanks in advance

The stars exists.
The number of the reviews exists only when you are inside the product and look at the tab reviews.
But for example, when you choose a category and see the products, you can see only the orange stars. It would be nice to have the number too.
I have two products with more than 100 reviews. But the users see only the stars and they don't know how popular a product is.

For CRYING OUT LOUD - Who in this world ESPECIALLY those using OC (but this goes for every other user of any cart anywhere known to mankind) NEEDS a product count - This so called feature is a passing fancy of wasted minutes spent by developers out of ideas. ITS NUTS!!!!! has NO place in the real world of commerce AT ALL. It's NOT a 'user experience' enhancement - IT SLOWS THEIR BROWSING EXPERIENCE!!!!!! - How is that an enhancement!? - WHO CARES how many products a store has anyway??????? - all this serves is to tell the useer - DON@T BROWSE ANY FURTHER - THEY HAVEN'T GOT THAT MUCH ANYWAY. What hairbrained idiot decided that this was a good idea - show m ethe idiot who thinks that there is an advantage here? - OC - time to get real about ECOMMERCE - SPEED IS EVERYTHING - If there is no speed there won't be a customer - OC NEEEEEEEEEDDDDDS to pay attention!!!!!!!!
