send emails to different manufacturers

hello All,


I'm looking to use open cart as an ordering platform (but without payment processing), so basically, when the customer places the order, the system would then send send emails to different manufacturers (depending on the products ordered). Does anyone have any advice on how to go about this? I know how the process "should" work, search product_id's of the products in the basket, find their manufacturer, get their email, format the email etc etc but my php is quite weak so any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I am even willing to PAY someone to do it!
