- Altered a bought module (Q's option price update) which shows price per item when you change a product pack option.
ex. Product (Option A : pack of 10 items),(Option B : pack of 25 items), .. => unit price = (price - vat) / 10, (price - vat) / 25, ..

1- though you have "Comments to order invoice" in your Feature List you need a Comment field per product Added to Cart.
2- Send Invoice to two e-mails. my client needs to have copy of invoice sent to a fax machine or second email account as well as e-mailed to the customer.
3- remove display of price of product if the whole price is contained in the Options drop-down box. For now my Small-Medium;Large products show price of $0.00 since the total price is attachedto the Options selection.

I really appreciate all your and other contributors efforts in the building of OC!
After using OC for a couple of months I have found some things that you may want to consider.
I'm not sure that this is the right place to mention this, but I figure it's worth a shot to start at the top with two of the best! Right?
So here goes:
We enter a lot, (currently 1000 and Climbing) of diverse products. We
We find it cumbersome the way it is set up as you have to migrate away from the data entry page to add new categories, Manufacturers….
A Dynamic (enter on the Fly) (add new option) for additions to: Categories, Location, Model and another field that we added "Project", (This Field that would be very beneficial to a lot of users) would make the entry process, reporting & reconciliation lot simpler.
When you do the update 1.4.6 for "Product batch Edit", a search would be very beneficial.
Can something like this also be implemented on the back end for review and correction of sales?
The Filter feature on Admin>products, You have to actually enter the data and then click the <filter> button to get results. A simpler solution would be enter your criteria & hit enter. I guess I am internally programmed to do this from using the search on OC front end, Google & Outlook .
Along the same lines. Also for the Back end, Is a Single Field search bar (Like the Google Search Suggestion type search or Google desktop) that would search all fields, Achievable? That would be the best option especially if the content is indexed.
If the returns could be then displayed with an additional filter to the left, (Like Ebay's advanced Search), by Category or any additional field)?
The other issue is the resulting invoice. There are always circumstances that require change to the invoice. ie, wrong shipping entered, Additional requirements &/or charges, …
We often sell ad hoc as well.

An Add Item button on the invoice would be great!.

3.-"Sell Similar" option with new item, To bring all the selections from another item to the new listing. Just enter title , description and pic and you are done.
4.- Related items option, should have on or off option to auto select random items from the same category.

8. -Java Script menu, Should be changed to css to allow ease of use.
9.- Larger image preview when selecting photos under product entry.

1. Out of Stock status option of 'Disabled' so items can be removed from the store front when no stock exists.
2. Change the manufacturers module to only display a manufacturer if they have an enabled product in the store, since it is a search input, empty searches are a waste of the customers time
2. More customer email filters, maybe add options for customers who have/haven't ordered for 3 months for targeted promotions
Nothing fancy, not to handle a corporate intranet, just simple tickets and FAQ / knowledge base.
Just one admin / tech. Don't need 35 techs and 44 departments.

Pre-order and Back-order products.
When an item is out of stock for the moment, this item must be in backorder when the rest of the order can be shipped out. The system should create a new order for the same customer.
Pre-order items can be set to the amount of 0.00 and the order for that product can be collected until price and livery date is known.
Oh - I also vote for having "enter" work in the filter as well, rather than having to click the filter button.

1 - Why do I have to set each item at zero on hand in order for the stock message I want to show? It says Stock Message, so I expect to be able to use it whether I have 400 or 14 or zero on hand. In my case it us most often "Usually ships following day." Although at times I would like it to be "Allow 2 or 3 days for order to ship." or something of that sort. As it is now it will only show if there are zero on hand.
And why can't I pick that as a default, so I do not have to make every item have zero on hand and then change the message?
2 - Why can't I turn off entirely the Date Available. Who gives a rat's ass? If it's on my site, it's available. Maybe some want that for pre-sales, but why not let us turn it off or on as we wish in the Store Setup?
2a - Why do I have to even edit the date because the cart is set to GMT and goes to "tomorrow" when I want to add items in the evenings in the US? Again, who gives a rat's ass about a date. I don't want it and I sure as hell don't appreciate having to edit the last digit every time I add an item.
3 - Why, can't I set a default tax instead of having to stop and drop down to the one and only tax I do have that is going to be active for every item I offer? Why can't I set Virgina Sales Tax so it comes up every time, instead of having to choose it for 400 items?
4 - Why do I have to take the time to enter the same Discounts for item after item, all of which have the same price and the same quantity discounts?
5 - Why is there no Clone capability when I am entering a few dozen of the same exact items, with only the color or memory size changing from one item to the next?
6 - Why do I have to import an image and then have to scroll through hundreds of them to add it to the item I am entering, when I would not be adding it if I did not need it right then? Why can't Importing it from the Product/Data page automatically add it as the main image and the thumbnail, without having to go hut it up again. And why can't importing in the Additional Images page not add it automatically to the Additional Images for that Item?
6a - There could be an entirely separate Add Images menu item for just adding images in general, but have it set up so images added within a product setup page would automatically be added to that product.
7 - Why am I such a whiner?
7a - Because I know it doesn't have to be the way it is. Setting up a cart is a long and tedious chore and eliminating as much repetitive "labor" as possible can save many hours when building a site.

4 why do you have item after item with the same price and same discounts? I would dare say the vast majority of stores are not this way.
5 there is a clone capability.
6 agreed the image upload could use some work. I guess it's nice to have the file manager functionality, but generally you just want to upload and set at the same time.

4 - How about a tee shirt shop where there may be hundreds of different designs, but all the same price? Q has a Category Discounts, that I've asked for and use with another cart. No problem with that. but many carts will "save" a discount, so you can go the a dropdown and pick the one you want.
His is good (I think) for Mix and Match, where any within the category count for the Quantity part. But there are times when you may want the same discount, but no allow Mix or Match.
In my case, it's digital LED watches, where while the prices are identical, I must buy a specific quantity of the specific watch to get the discount. If the manufacturer holds me to that standard, I cannot allow my customers to mix of match.
Trust me, I've bought dozens of mods over the years, and don't mind doing so. But there are many carts that offer the simple Discounts feature that I ask about. Once you set it up, it's available for other items. May not be something you'd use, but I feel others would.
