Our team had a need for a small cart system to we tried opencart, here is a live shop we did: http://www.fullice.com/ It really is a nice lightweight codebase and it served this project well. I look forward to seeing the project mature and grow.

Thank you for the kind words. Qphoria what is the deal with the OC and CC? Both have so much merit in different ways, will these projects merge?

I am wondering if anyone would be interested in starting an opencart showcase/gallery site/section to

1) show off some of the great oc
2) offer some quick quality backlink and
3) most importantly promote the platform.

We set up a quick Wordpress install/theme for somehting similar in the past. Lot's of benefit from little effort. I am happy to contribute if anyone else is interested. I mean *this show your site* thread is ok, but a spiffy gallery like http://www.webtrend.net/ dedicated to well executed Opencart deployments would be awesome....

what say you?

Nice work. ;)

Your business website says:
Oh, and did we mention our CMS is fully compatible with our ecommerce system? That's right, our systems integrate into one easy to use administration console.
What CMS are you using? And how was the integration accomplished, with OpenCart?

Thanks!

We have a larger scale cart/cms set up that we have developed for the Kohana framework. But for smaller sites we love open cart because it is light weight and super easy to modify. Would really like to see this platform take off - and would be happy to help however we can.

I think the main rotating images, on the home page are in great need of optimization. WAY too many KBs. That's the only negative (technical) thing that I noticed.

Yeah... the client wanted optimization at 100% quality... I totally agree, we could squeeze those down a lot.
