Not to bad for a default theme. But as I always saying ,I would make the product images much bigger, to stand out more. However , you have some css issues on the subpages, your left sidebar is in a strange position, and the content on the category view is underneath
( i am dutch hihi)
The fancybox on the product page doesn't work. Left sidebar column is misplaced.

Strangely enough on a mobile screen the category page looks weird...products are not aligned correctly - too much to the left. Not sure how to fix this/what causes this?

Your left column is still misplaced in e.g. the product page. I think this is because you got too many items in your menu bar, for example, the 'MAMA'S' menu entry doesn't fit into your top menu bar.
