May you please check out this site for me?
Don't worry about the images on the slideshow because they are just there to hold the space. I don't like them so they are going to change.
I am looking forward to criticism, suggestions, encouragement, etc. Anything u want to say, please don't hesitate

does not display full page on 1024x762 pixel Video-Resolution, not even with 1152x864 px Setting,
Most Users will not like that very much. Giant Banners create no sale, they just use precious loading time.
It's just looks like a regular Shop, like a trillion others too, depending on what Clientele you will address, it may work. But if you rely on Individuality, it's not enough to succeed.
I did not hesitate..., you did not ask for...
Good Luck

Oh! I never noticed this. I've just realized it doesn't look good on computer screens with resolutions lower than 1280x720IP_CAM wrote:does not display full page on 1024x762 pixel Video-Resolution, not even with 1152x864 px Setting,

That has been a major concern for me but I want to use them to promote certain products and catch the visitors eyeIP_CAM wrote:... they just use precious loading time.
I agree. I am planning to buy a commercial theme. Hopefully I will be able to chose one that will stand outIP_CAM wrote:It's just looks like a regular Shop, like a trillion others too, depending on what Clientele you will address, it may work. Don't tell me that's all you've got!IP_CAM wrote:I did not hesitate..., you did not ask for...

I Like the look of the site. I would personally Like the product images much bigger to make me want to press them. And see the sculpture before I go on the product page.
I would also have the category pages set to Grid with the Larger images. For sculptures I would say images are the most important thing and making them stand out i would consider being very important

Opencart sites I am currently working on:

I notice that the width of the image container in the featured box isn't set. While it does make your site look different, it creates the problem that you can't set a cetrain amount that will fill 1 or 2 rows with products. So now, we have 1 full row and 1 product on the next, leaving a lot of blank space.
Solution is to either set a fixed with per product, or, to keep the same effect, create a parent div with overflow hidden, this will hide the single product in the next line, if there are any.
I'd also have a look at the size of the text in the top menu, specially when you're on category or product pages, it seems to be pushed to the background a bit by the strong contrast, as the menu is an important element, it can have a (slightly) bigger font.
Last point is more nitpicky... on the product page, I'd make the main image bigger, specially for a product that is all about esthetics. the image and the column next to it that shows the artist and the buy buttons could be 50/50 at least, If not even a bigger image.

Maybe you should fix fields for articles (hover) they shouldn’t move, and second objection is that you use generic images in slider.
Aside from that, I like how website looks.

In general I would say well done, though there are a few things I would change.
Love the size of the images on your home page and the layout in general, though would make the images on your product pages larger - art is such a visual medium, you really need to show it off. You might want to add an image zoom to them too.
I agree with someone else too that the category pages should be grid view by default with large images similar to your home page - let people see more of the art at once and again, it fits more with the visual aspect of your products.
You really need good, evocative descriptions as well. For example "Head and shoulders of an African woman." really doesn't say a lot. I would write something a bit more like "Carved from a gorgeous single piece of Rapoko Stone, artist Zongoro Takemore has captured the beauty and elegance of an African woman in this bust. Rapoko Stone is (add description of what itis, where it is mined, etc). Finely carved, it stands 17 cm high." or something like that. I wouuld also include a paragraph about the artist. There is also no mention if your art is one of a kind, a replicated piece from the original sculpture, or a limited edition of x pieces, etc. All things an art collector would want to know and some of the pieces I clicked on have no descriptions at all, which is also not good for SEO.
The biggest thing I see though is lack of contact info except on the contact page - I had no idea you were in Zimbabwe. If your specialty is African art, you might want to play that up in a tag line or something like "Fine African Art from the Heart of Africa" or something like that. Include your contact information such as phone and email address more predominantly. Make it easy for people to realize where you are located and shipping from.
