Is Trending Functionality Possible?

Hey OpenCart peeps! Looking for something that I'm not sure exists at the moment.

I want to create a 'trending' section for opencart so that it would contain the bestsellers but within a specific date range... like the past 24 hours or the past week or the past month. Has anyone accomplished this or know of an extension that could help achieve that functionality.

Hi! I'm looking for the same thing. Did you find anything? I've scoured the extensions list so I'm thinking the answer is no. I would love to have this functionality and would be interested in custom development if it's not yet available.

I don't think so.... that looks like simply a list of items that recently sold. We are talking about bestsellers but instead of all-time bestsellers that naturally favors items that have been in the catalog forever, you can create a list showing bestsellers for last 24 hours, last week, last month, etc. I have a constantly updating catalog and seasonal items so I need this functionality.
