Considering Opencart for 6-figure custom POS/Inventory project

We have been running a POS module on top of Opencart for 7 months and have been pretty surprised as to how well it is doing in our thrift store. It was meant to be a test bed, but has turned into something bigger. We have long been under the assumption that we would have to design from scratch or do an API integration project with existing software. Now we are at the point that we think a good Opencart development company could do much of what we want. Or at least get in the ballpark. Has anyone out there done a 6 figure or more project with Opencart specialist devlopment company? Any suggestions, warning, thoughts?

@straightlight Currently using 3.03.2. Would assume our project would run on latest Opencart in test phase and eventual implementation. Budget in low $100,000. We don't have an API, we are just a funded thrift store concept. Looking for custom solution but currently using Opencart as point of sale and eccommerce, as well as Ebay/Etsy integration.

In this case, if no extensions are currently available on the Marketplace that would deliver what you need specifically, I would suggest to gather an API account and its API documentation from the 6-figure service provider and ensure the API credentials are ready for testing (if applies) and production mode. Then, to create a new service request in the Commercial Support section of the forum to get this integration done as a custom job. You can also send me a direct PM message on the forum once these information would be gathered by your service.
