I noticed a slow down in front and back end gradually after each OCMOD extension, I'm not sure what is the exact reason. But could it be the OCMOD ?
What if I moved manually the modification codes to the Opencart files instead of installing OCMOD extensions, does this speed up the website ?

Less likely to be OCMOD.

OCMOD creates cached, altered files. It does not create the files on the fly.

More likely it is the actually extensions.
