Installed and working, but cannot configure email to work so download is emailed out. Developer stopped support years ago, but wondered if anyone has tips on email config on this application.
Thanks.

The application:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/mysqldumper/
Settings allow configuration to do the SQL backup/dump, and email the file(s). Tried various changes to these email settings to no avail. Figured some OpenCart users have this running and might be able to assist.
I've entered correct email addresses and attempted different setting options without success.

Beside the email settings (guess something is not correct figured), you should not use this old software.
Why?
Either your are running already under php7 - or you have to switch very soon.
The successor is embedded in MyOOS (another shopsoftware) in the directory msd and IS php7 ready:
https://github.com/r23/MyOOS/tree/master/msd
Either download only this folder from Github or the whole script and extract it.
Install and configure - it should work.

Thank you. Migrating from 1.5x to 3.x and need the entire db structure in one file, so just temporarily using this.

Then I do no understand why you are not using phpMyAdmin which will be already existing.

MyPhp has file limitations that prevent us from grabbing one large db file. That's the only reason. Again, temporary until we transition. The dumper is working, just the email settings aren't, so no longer a problem, just annoying. Once we move to 3.x this will no longer be in use.
Thanks for the feedback.
