Hi I was trying to decide between opencart and zen cart to build my website. Overall I like open cart much better but I have one issue with open cart: the top menu bar seems only display the product category. I would like to have other buttons that link to different page. Here is one example of template that I really like: https://www.templatemonster.com/demo/55219.html. Can this be built with open cart too? Thanks

Some themes come with a more advanced menu bar, where you can add more items to the menu. You should look out for those themes

You can add more links to the top menu say from the footer pages: you just use the same URL or use the html module to create a new menu and add it to all pages at the top.

@taotaoli: If you decide to use the default theme, that can be easily done by editing the header's theme file, where the top menu's code is, and adding the links to the pages you want, and if you decide to use a custom theme, as @MarketInSG already said, it really depends on how customizable that theme is, but once again, it can be also done by manualy editing the file where the menu's code is located...

This is not a workaround at all, let alone a solution :)

@taotaoli That same template "Spare Parts" is made for Opencart...you can find it at most theme stores.
