I work on a site and I am interested in open cart as a product catalog, why I should use open cart for a web and computing company, we do have packages for various web services such as we have a whole line of packages for public clouds.

Its feasible if you are comfortable customizing to your needs and developing service automation to your backoffice. It does have customer accounts, recurring payments, affiliates, and other basic digital support, but its not robust in those realms.

Normally the recommended route would be a use-specific software though such as http://www.whmcs.com/ which is designed from the ground up to do what you are speaking of (in less work to customize). Not hating on OC, but make sure its the right tool for your job before committing too much time only to discover too many limits for this type of use.

Hi white045,

Yes, I agree with Dhaupin. Opencart is really easy to customize. I have tested many ecommerce cms and opencart is one of the best ecommerce cms. You can easily customize your ecommerce site using opencart
