maybe we need an approval system for modules released into the marketplace, something like how the Apple app store does it. That will reduce the junk in the marketplace and ensure reliability.

I had to disable an extension that allows the store admin to view the customer's password awhile back... What the crap, need some QC here?

Basically it should be a transparent progress/task.
Nobody knows how the accepting progress is done, nor who is doing this!

From time to time - and now you - is someone posting that he has todo with the extension store.
Great .. but where is the tranparency??

Would be good to publish the

1. requirements (for the extension)
2. what will be proved
3. who is proving (who are the persons behind, and if not public made, the team)
4. how fast

Quality control is always good - not just earning 30%!

Envanto has a system of excellent quality. They also protect the seller: If the customer claims by paypal, disabled envanto account.

If Opencart to copy such behavior, sellers would feel protected. Also gladly would pay the 30%.

Mi nuevo protecto: Catinfog
Catinfog es un tpv online basado en opencart. El mejor tpv gratis para gestionar tiendas físicas.

Agree with all, but for #1 we should extend it to:

1.1) Requirements
1.2) Dependencies
1.3) Known Conflicts
