I only know here and theadminzone, but seem like there is no specific area for shop admin in theadminzone. Any website do you guys as an online shop owner go and chat?

I'm assuming you mean that you'd like a little window on the client side somewhere where they can live chat with you if they have questions, etc...

I've set clients up with "zopim" service before, it's just a few lines of javascript added to the footer, and they have an app that you can chat with customers via your smartphone. It's a pretty great service, and they have a free tier.

I think he means somewhere aimed at webstore owners/administrators where we can chat and share experiences/ideas/code etc.

For anyone in the UK UK Business Forums can be used like that but there is no separate section for site owners afaik.

I just stick with here - the company is better and so is the code *grin*

You can check out the g+ group in my signature. Still small, but I hope to build it to help shop owners no matter what software they use.

Running Opencart v3.0.3.2 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.

Seem like people over here mainly talk about the technical part of the store, but no one really talks about how to do marketing or anything else regarding the business side.

That's because these forums are about the software, not selling or business.

You might check out forums like american express' open forums and other business-oriented sites.

This is a widely-used internet marketing forum that I read a lot. Probably what you're looking for...

Strange. I visited the Warrior Forum just before I posted about it, and no problem.
Looks like it went down in the last two weeks.
Sod's law.
Might be just a server problem... it might revive at some point. It's the server that's not responding. It would be a shame if it's permanently gone, cos there was an enormous wealth of really useful data on there.

Warrior Forum is working fine once again. They must have fixed the server fault.

Any free version of zopim? Well my question is really asking any place for shop owner like you and I to chat with each other.

I'm on warrior forum but it's really mainly internet marketers and "get rich quick" type people.

Your idea makes sense. We bought a domain called "commercewars" a couple years ago with the intent to make a hangout like this, but never did anything with it haha. Maybe if i find time i can revive it. It has an epic trashed up Drupal on it atm but could be bent to be a forum quite easily.

Hypothetically, what would this structure be like for a non-biased hangout spot? http://forum.commercewars.com/

Its raw obviously but this thread sparked interest back in it :)

Warrior forum is pretty good, but there is a lot of misinformation on there and people trying to sell you stuff. It's important to take things you read there with a grain of salt.

how to get rid of love handles
