I can click on the Image icon while in the Description box and the Image Property window opens. I can click Browse Server, and then that's where I'm stuck. No matter what image I click on from my Image Manager, nothing happens. I can double click on any image but it will not automatically close the Image Manager for me and insert the URL. I can exit the Image Manager by closing the window but that does me no good because I still don't have the URL.

So basically, I can never add an image to the Description Box. Any help?

I hope someone chimes in, I have huge problems with the image manager as well. Sometimes closing the browser and reopening the admin page works for me. While not a fix sometimes it works.

I just wanted to post this in case anyone in the future happens upon this thread:

Using an Apple (Mac) computer solved all issues. I didn't have to install anything. I tried using my PC again, and it still doesn't work properly. I don't know why, but if anyone can explain to me why the Image Manager does not work properly on a PC, I'd love to hear it. (I've tried multiple PC's and got the same results)

might have to do something with your version off windows, i run win 8 and had to tinker with security right so im actualy administrator, when setting up a win 8 your account is not a treu administrator and several security mesures are in place.

MISSING PICTURES? NOTHING ACTUALLY WORKS.. It's an OC 2.0.X.X issue only...

No matter what you do, the description editor adds strange characters to your codes that prevents it to display pictures and anything else. I've tested it on PC Win 8, 7, and Mac but no luck!

OC 1.5.x.x works just fine. Because they used a different html editor than OC 2.xxx... I wonder why the developers still ignoring this issue?

MISSING DESCRIPTION PICTURES ON OC 2.0.2.0 MAKING IT USELESS! DO YOU COPY?

https://github.com/opencart/opencart/co ... b7e4e9142a

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Go to:

admin/view/javascript/common.js

at line 152 replace: $('#modal-image a.thumbnail').on('click', function(e) {
to: $('#modal-image').delegate('a.thumbnail', 'click', function(e) {
