Hello,
I am just beginners to opencart and i want to know that is this possible that i can create mutisite with single openCart installation? Wordpress gives multisite functionality i want exactly same functionality but with shopping cart and for this i want to use openCart.
so user can manage their individual stores. and store admin can manage products and orders of that store and super admin moderate all store available.
store is crate when user register in on main site. and also create sub-domain with his username.
Is is possible?
Thanks,
Yes, OpenCart supports multi-store: http://docs.opencart.com/display/openca ... ulti-store). But back-end User accounts cannot be configured per store. Also, registration on the front-end creates Customer accounts for the front-end, not back-end User.
It sounds like you want a SaaS e-commerce solution with multi-store. I have created "Customer Product Manager (CPM) / SaaS Membership Module", http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... n_id=10860. It supports multi-store, but doesn't assign or create one automatically for a Member account. It creates a new page for each Member on a single store and Members can create products and assign them to one or many stores.
Also, I'm pretty sure you would need to create the sub-domain with your domain registrar. Not sure how to automate that from your web server, or if it's even possible.

Opencart has multistores built in, but it sounds like you are looking for mulit-vendor so do a search for it in the extension store. You might need to customize it for your needs but could contact the developer to see if they could do that for you.
Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.
