If a customer orders a product on our website, it gets a status of "pending" until auth.net gives my website a payment response, and it quickly goes to status "processing" if the payment is good. We then print off the order, and manually mark it as "processed" to show that it has been dealt with.
If someone orders a voucher/gift certificate, the website automatically emails the code out, and it goes into my system as "Processed" after the credit card response goes through. So far so good..
But if someone orders a product and a gift certificate/voucher in the same order, the order still gets a status "Processed" after the payment is good, like it is only a voucher order. Then we think we have already dealt with the product order, and already printed it off, when we really have not.
Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to fix this?
Here are my open cart settings:
Set the default order status when an order is processed. (Pending)
Complete Order Status:
Set the order status the customers order must reach before they are allowed to access their downloadable products and gift vouchers. (Processed)
