Default product list view

Hi lovely people :),
I am new here - OpenCart looks like a great shopping system :).
I just have a quick question please:
Is there any way for me to set Category / Product View as List by default, instead of Grid? I don't want to use Grid as the default view, but want to use List as default.
Thanks very much for your help in advance.

Hi,
list is default in default theme.
Do you have additional theme?
You can change it in bottom of category template (catalog/view/theme/*/template/product/category.tpl)

Here is code, you may find and change to:

view = $.cookie('display');

if (view) {
    display(view);
} else {
    display('list');  // default is LIST
}

Hi there, thanks very much for your reply. Yes, I use the Fortis Theme. I think I have found where to change it. Fortis's default view is Grid, so I will need to change it there. Thanks very much for your help - really appreciate it. Irina
