I'm trying to develop a new test environment for updating and 'reinventing' my recent store. The live shop is on Oc 2.3.0.2 and i'm trying to setup a test site with Oc 3.x.
Installing is no problem. But when I want to add my purchased extensions most of them need a licence key (which i have, but afraid to enter because i do not want to take the risk that the same extension stops working on my live site after activating on the test site.)
Anyone got any great idea's instead of buying them all twice?
Depend by extensions.
Some can work as trial, others not.
You can ask each developer....but NEVER buy a second license because later that subdomain will be primary.
Another solution
Make back-up for primary, upgrade the store, work on new design.
