Re: PHP date & time

Actually, if you are still using Arvixe web hosting... they have three locations for their servers, and they have a location in Asia now that I remember.

Tell them you are in Asia and would prefer a server in Asia so it is closer to you.

Re: PHP date & time

The "php.ini" file is an override file for anything and everything in it.

So when you look at the "php.ini" file, you are looking at all the overrides for your web host.

Re: admin defaulting to website

Try putting everything back the way it was before the error.

Then check with your web hosting to see if they are causing the problem.

It's possible they disabled something that your web site needs to function, or they could have an issue with a sever or database.

If this is of any help but today found out the hosting company I am using does not allow mail response for security reason so they say, I had to change mail setting to SMPT in the admin =mail=settings and it might have happened after that, but canot see that would influence the admin login. Re: Slider Speed not working

I need this fixed before my online shop goes public, because I placed text on banners, and 5 seconds isn't long enough for people to read them before they transition.

Re: admin defaulting to website

This is very odd, as it isn't redirecting, and it shows the customers view of the shop from the admin folder.

I have a

php.ini
folder in my admin folder, do you have one also?

Re: Slider Speed not working

To whoever fixes this problem, and can show me how to make the images sit on the page longer before they transition, I'll send them money to their paypal account.

Does $10.00 USD sound good?

I don't have much money at the moment.

Re: Amend alet text & remove slider block.

I would like to amend the text captions that are displayed throughout the site. For Example "There is no product that matches the search criteria" "There are no products in this category" Log into your web sites cPanel, then click on "File Manager", then in your OpenCart directory, find this file /...

Re: Front Page "HOME" Layout Has Too Much Empty Space!

If you remove all modules... then you'll see what I mean. Try it, see what happens. This is so annoying! All that empty space on the front page. Then if you select only one module for the front page, you'll also see what I mean when you scroll the screen. There's just too much empty space. Whoever s...

Re: Any release date set for Opencart 2.0.1.2?

All minor issues have been fixed, and no new complanings at the moment. Really? Then you haven't been reading any topics in the forum. There are many issues not fixed yet, but this is an ongoing project, a work in progress. Since the last two versions were released about a month apart, I would expe...

Re: Guest Checkout for Downloadable Products

Yes, you can allow or not allow guests to check out. You can also allow checkout without payment options if you have free items for sale. I think the option for people to buy things as a guest is automatic unless they want to register. If I'm wrong about this though, then I'm sure it can be changed ...

Re: PHP date & time

Are you mean. Set PHP or root?? I already set php.ini but does not work. Are you using latest version?? Not the root file of your OpenCart directory. The root file of ALL OF YOUR FILES, the very very very first file, the file that ALL of your files are in. There you will find php.ini Versions do no...

Re: Admin Area messed up

This is a "style" related issue. If the domain name in the address line of the browser does not EXACTLY match the define in the config file, you will get this sort of thing. This is not solely related to OpenCart, but applies to ALL content management systems. ok well that didn't explain one thing ...

Re: Where can I edit "Sort by:"?

Oh....

You can just disable that whole thing.

In your Admin panel, go to

Extensions > Modules

In your Module list, look for "Category", then click the red button next to it that says "UNINSTALL"

You can then Install it later if you want to mess with it again later.

Re: Slider Speed not working

The speed in the script is only for the moment of transition between images changing, not how long they sit there before they transition! For us to slow down the time the images sit on the screen before they transition, we need to insert a delay into the script! Like this... transitiondelays-1.jpg M...

In your Admin panel, in the menu to the left, go to Catalog > Catagory There you can edit, delete, and create Categories and Subcategories. Only the ones with the option "Top" selected, in the "Data" tab, will appear in the main menu on the shop. Categories are seen on the main menu bar, while Subca...

Re: PHP date & time

You can try doing a date and time override on your server, not sure if this will work, but you could try it. Log in to your Cpanel, then go to your File Manager. Click on "HOME" to see all your files. Look for the file called php.ini Click on that file and then click "edit" Then add this below the l...
