These days many captchas can be cracked by spambots. We therefore recommend a different approach: SpamBot Buster.
It protects the Contact Us page, as well as other forms, by using an invisible honeypot trap, and by checking for required keyboard/mouse/touch events.

Use OpenCart, not the Journal3 framework, the latter is known to be of poor quality, and many 3rd party extensions won't work with Journal3.

Normally it should be sufficient to update these files:
config.php (HTTP_SERVER, HTTPS_SERVER)
admin/config.php (HTTP_SERVER,HTTP_CATALOG,HTTPS_SERVER,HTTPS_CATALOG)
And don't forget to set the correct path in your '.htaccess' file for the RewriteBase.
