Re: language file error and possible hack.

You can try sitecheck.sucuri.net altough I don't get how a fishing scam is related to a missing language file.
If you don't have ssh you can download your entire home directory and search all files for malicious code like:
eval
base64_decode
gzinflate

Using Agent Ransack or Wingrep.

Re: Dynamic Library Error

It looks like pdo is not installed on your vps. You can probably use easyapache to compile it in, assuming you have whm and root access.

Re: Ideal Width For Responsive Site?

Agreed. I'm using max width as well since the last project and love it. It's no problem going from 1920 down to 240 px and have everything look good across devices. I do mix full-width and fixed width containers to prevent reading articles like you're watching a game of tennis. Another tip is to mix...

Re: Remove image links in product body description with a qu

You could just hide them using CSS, including future ones ;D

Code: Select all

.product-description img{display:none;}
<!--change selector accordingly-->

Re: Total Import Pro Errors

Categories are added during import along with the products. Smaller batches didn't work either? What if you adjust the import to *only* import a 100 at a time? There's a range you can put in step5 of TIP. Or setup a local version of the installation like I suggested using wamp/xamp. Other than using...

Re: Error 1064 - Product page SQL error

You can replace ' with \' in your excel doing a search/replace and see if that solves it.

Re: Prevent Missing orders (dont create order ID until after

I haven't looked at it but the new order_id is still the auto_incremented from the db, not? So rearranging the ids omitting the failed/deleted orders would be like I said. Correct me if I'm wrong ;)

Re: Prevent Missing orders (dont create order ID until after

Auto increment on xxxxxxx_id columns in the database keeps track of this. This can be viewed and changed in a database editor like phpmyadmin. Be very careful changing this! Always backup! It should be possible to renumber these id columns on an hourly basis, automatically, but I'm not sure if such ...

Re: Using images from a URL.

Updated version with support for spaces in image urls.

Image urls with special chars except _ and - will be ignored, you can read the error_log in your admin to see which images were affected.

Re: Using images from a URL.

I'll add a fix for spaces tomorrow. Thanks for bringing it up.

@OSworkX I've updated the documentation now that I'm aware of this requirement. 8) Thanks for chipping in.

Re: Using images from a URL.

As it turned out vQmod wasn't generating cache for any of the xmls. A vQmod update to 2.5 solved that.
I just got confirmation that all is working as aspected.
Lesson learned is to use at least vQmod 2.5 for OpenCart 2.x as also stated by Jay on Stack Overflow...

Re: Using images from a URL.

Indeed! Also remove the phpinfo file from your host.

Steve, I suggest I take a look on the host to get this solved. PM me if you want to.

Re: Using images from a URL.

I see the problem.
Would you mind me checking on your host what could be the culprit? It's hard to debug this way.
For instance what's your DIR_IMAGE defines as?
Does your server have the module allow_url_fopen installed?

Re: Using images from a URL.

Is there anything in the error log for vqmod? I haven't tested it on versions lower than 2.5.1 but should work. So just trying to understand what you're doing; You have products already in the shop, images and all. You export a couple, change the image field to an external file (http://...jpg), reim...

Re: Using images from a URL.

You can use it without changes. The default folder used for downloading external images is image/catalog/reseller The default 'no image' is different for OC2 compared to OC1, hence the option to manually change it in the xml. If the database field for image contains a link, iow starts with http:// i...
