Anyway, I commented out those lines in the calling file, and was able to complete the update.

Memory leak

I am running OpenCart 3.0.3.0 OpenCart Db has a lot of SQL queries with sleep status, which keeps increasing my memory usage, and ultimately kills the site once it hits the maximum allocated RAM for the account. That's likely because OpenCart ships with "Singapore" region for "Singapore" country (in the database). You should be able to fix it by deleting Singapore zone from the database.
