Maestro Issue Number error with PP Pro?

My client has an SSL but at what stage of the checkout process does this get used when using PayPal Pro for Credit Cards? I was thinking the Payment page should already be on an https secure page or does this happen after info is submitted?

What are the advantages/disadvantages of using PayPal Pro instead of, or together with the regular PayPal option? I tried having them both enabled but sales appear to default to regular PayPal at the mo.

Thanks, Q - mind, with my client, there will never be a 0 value as there are no downloads, so this would need to apply to orders of 10kg and above.. @the mo I'm having to write a lot of variables for any amount just over 10 as my products are now 1 & 1.1kg in weight.

Free Shipping by quantity?
Hi, is there a way to enable 'Free Shipping' by quantity of products ordered? I'm using Q's Zone Shipping Mod & if I specify 10:0.00 it does not then displays: 'Error, Shipping Method required' as all of my client's products require shipping.
