Re: Redesign the Catalog

Moreover, the OC admin uses a fixed 800px box, so the side space (where you could move the menu) is usually unused (if you don't have a 800x600 screen). I agree... it is a bit of wasted space. I'd say 1024 width would be good there to give more info or expand things a bit. I'd use a side menu and a...

Re: Redesign the Catalog

I would have to disagree with the admin menu comments (and I don't think "ergonomic" is the right word). While I've used systems like CS-Cart where all the admin options were in sideboxes instead a menu... I find that having a menu is more dynamic and keeps it out of the way when not using a certai...

Re: Redesign the Catalog

If your idea is to replace the side menu with a drop-down top menu, I disagree. Rather, I'd also change the admin menu replacing that drop-down thing. Having "to mouseover" on every item in order to see its content is not very ergonomic and a menu where you immediately see the content would be much ...

If the invoice does include the date there's no problem, however it could be a good addition just to make things clearer.

Re: Invoicenumber(s) not correct according to EU law

Does the code also reset the progression on every new year? the code reset invoice number to 000001 when a new year starts Yeah I've seen the trick if (count($last_inv->row)>0) { ... } else { $next_inv=1; } I've also seen you use InnoDB instead of MyISAM which should be OpenCart default... did you ...

Re: New OpenCart Template default by StorExecute

Very nice, but I don't like that kind of menu (drop down), I prefer menu where you immediately see every child without having "to mouseover" every time. This is why I'll also change the OpenCart default admin template, replacing the horizontal drop down menu with a modular sidebar, probably based on...

You speak for the whole UE, Italy (and maybe other countries) has the additional requirement of "restart the numbers every year".

However what you say about online/offline sync is true, it could be another issue for a UE company.

Re: Invoicenumber(s) not correct according to EU law

So the "annual" thing is probably an Italian (and other countries?) addition. No, it is a common thing in most company's but it is not law. I use it myself as it makes more sence to re-start every year with a new range so I hope it will be default in OC. No, in Italy you must restart every new year...
