Re: Opencart absichern

Re: PNG files won't upload

Why would you do that? The big advantage of PNG is to allow transparency like with Gif's, but when transforming jpg-to-png, you still have no transparency, but bigger files size than working with jpg-images, when it comes to larger sized images. Therefore, there is no advantage, as far as I see... E...

Re: Opencart Test Directory

you can redirect it later by use of a .htaccess rerouting command, so, if anyone calls your site, your shop will display. Or then, to avoid search-engine-problems, you just move the entire shop-file-content from the sub to the main directory. For the DB, it does not matter, if you did not hardcode f...

Re: Opencart installation Internal Server error

you need to check the Server Log Lile, a 500 Error can have multiple reasons.I assume that you need to 'chmode' the shop-directories manually, but this would mean that your Hoster does not know what he is doing.

Re: Update errors Version 1.5.1.3 to Version 1.5.6.3

I guess the existing v.1.5.1.x DB cannot longer be handled by v.1.5.6.x Versions, you probably have to create a new DB.

Re: [MOD] Global Quantity with Drop Down Menu

I found an old Mod to do this in a rather nice way, but the Author did not update it anymore, so, I added a little to it. This Mod does not require anything else, it needs no Admin Settings, it just counts one up or down. Source: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&e...

Re: [Extension] Invoice to PDF 1.2 release (also support thr

I had some spare time and just got the latest Version installed onto my OpenShop v1.7 Custom Theme (OC v1.5.6.1-3). First start produced Source Code on the Screen, then I switched to the Invoice itself and got my PDF as planned. Switching back to admin-display-all user-invoices Order Page, everythin...

Re: OpenCart 1.5.6 BUG topic - Read first post first!

In all fairness, we get so-called bug/error reports all the time which are so insufficient, no details, no attached error messages, that I usually tend to ignore them now. Here is a recent example: I fully agree. as beeing part of some script-scene's for some time, I know how it goes. It's just not...

Re: Product Details Error Page not found

I don't like very much that >>&<<, this is normaly used in Hyperlinks for other purpuses than just beeing part of a word. The ability to open such Links may even depend on Browsers used by Visitors. It would probably have to be written as: & instead of a simple & M&S http://www.mepon...

Re: [vQmod] Adds Company, State & Post Code to Checkout

Hello just to round up this ZIP-Code matter, I have invested some time to find out how to modify Sections in order to place my ZIP before the City in Shipping Documents and Invoices, as well as leaving out the Country, since my Version is planned to be used for 'inland' selling only.. Others may hav...

Re: Link image to Delivery Info page

<?php echo $information['href']; ?> I figured that the above href-link is not correct, because it lacks the href-content. It would probably have to be something like: .... whatever.com/shop/index.php?route=information/information&information_id=4 So, try: <div class="column"> <a href=&...

seems to be in Discussion for some time, I cannot judge, since I have not yet tested PP in any form available.
dfumagalli is shouting about it, so, I guess there must be a problem.

Re: Upgrades - it must be easier than this, yes?

g the new version of OC will only replace the FILES that are identically named, it won't wipe out other stuff in the folder. Exactly this is the problem, if someone has modified standard source, it may well be overwritten by the new default file. And this would be, at least in my case, possibly rui...
