PayPal Pro sends payment, but continues processing

In OpenCart 1.4.7 PayPal Pro sends the payment, but it continues processing on the front end saying "please wait". It never seems to finish and the products remain in the shopping cart. When I setup PayPal should I set it to authorize or sale and should the status be as pending, complete or what? Th...

FIX the Forum Search

Search for these forums ignores "common words". That makes search useless. The very idea of ignoring words that are common is unbelievably and even monstrously illogical and absurd. If a problem people have is very common it is highly likely that words associated with this common problem are....COMM...

[Solved]PayPal Product Checkout Name

Someone here MUST change the search function for these forums. When I searched for "PayPal Product Checkout Name" it said it IGNORED "PayPal, Product & Checkout" leaving only "name" as a search term so just what good does that do anybody? ??? That's the most asinine thing EVER. My problem in OpenCar...

Re: Post OpenCart 1.4.4 Bugs Here!

I can understand why someone with a lot of pressure on them who is used to getting lots of false alarms might become incredulous. Stay positive Daniel! You've done great work here! ;D

This worked for me as well. Yeah! I knew I wasn't crazy. ;D

Re: Post OpenCart 1.4.4 Bugs Here!

Well I intended not to place the SSL problem back into the bug section, but i2paq did it for me. I've tried every combination I can think of from a clean install and every time SSL has the same problem with the screwed up URL in the front store Log In. http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=documen...

OpenCart v1.4.4

Since this may or may not be a bug I'm posting this here. What are the proper detailed steps for getting SSL to work in this latest version? I already have a certificate that is functioning properly and has worked with the Open Cart admin login once already. I'm having trouble getting it to work in ...

Re: SSL problem in Open Cart 1.4.4

Let us know what happens.
Mine is a clean install other than the change to config.php and admin settings. Still using the demo products.

Re: Post OpenCart 1.4.4 Bugs Here!

I'm gonna go ahead and report this as a bug, I had it under support. It happens on a fresh install out of the box after I've setup SSL and the SSL works fine for admin logins, just not store account login. It does this whether I have SEF urls turned on or not. I get a URL that looks like this below ...

SSL problem in Open Cart 1.4.4

SSL works fine for Admin, but I get a URL that looks like this below
https://http//index.php?route=account/login
when trying to visit the user log in page.

I added the proper URL for //HTTPS section of the config.php file in the admin directory.

Thanks for any help!

Re: OpenCart v1.4.4

From a newcomer's perspective Daniel appears to be a very talented developer. Regardless of how talented any developer is, however, a project with only one major developer is likely to fail for lack of broader development support and the high likelihood the principle developer will burn out. This is...

Re: OpenCart 1.4.2

GoDaddy has a basic SSL certificate that is very cheap and even comes free with it's shared hosting.

If you are concerned about a cheap SSL certificate being worth anything you might also have to ask what shared SSL certificates are worth. Even less.

Clearly this should not be a problem.

Re: OpenCart v1.4.0

If everything goes according to plan (minimal bugs, simple corrections) what time frame would we be looking at generally speaking for v1.4.1 to be released?

Are we talking within the week? ;D

Thanks.
