"joe bloggs" as a manufacturer will not be the same as "bloggs joe" when using LIKE '%joe bloggs%'

Model - what is this for?

hi guys,

can someone explain what we should be using the model field (which is required in the admin) for?

at this stage, the code/sku field is what we would like to display on the product pages/index. should i be putting this info in the model field instead.

from reading today's post it appears that IE is a problem for uploading images. i can bear using firefox as an alternative, but my clients will not be able to.

i am creating an online bookstore and wish to add additional db tables eg. author, series eg.
