Re: new version of open cart

Hi yamaha, As far as the website visuals/layout go (i.e. responsive web design ) it will depend on the theme (look for responsive themes). I did a quick check on the default theme and based on this it seems to work ok - see screenshot below. http://s11.postimg.org/pbi3k7mib/opencart_responsive.png

Re: Upgrades and custimized files

Hi, Just to clarify, if you have made changes to the default stylesheet (catalog/view/theme/default/stylesheet/stylesheet.css) you will lose your changes in an upgrade. If you want to keep your changes across upgrades you should consider making a new theme for your changes (theres plenty of resource...

Re: How to get line break from text in categories?

Hi kungmats,

Make sure you are not editing in HTML mode. You can toggle this by clicking the icon as highlighted in the image below

If it still won't work, try using "<br />" instead of a new line, for example:

Code: Select all

ABC<br />123

Re: Two emails for each order

Hi ablain,

Is there a file vqmod/vqcache/vq2-catalog_model_checkout_order.php ? If so check that for any differences from catalog/model/checkout/order.php.

Code: Select all

ALTER TABLE oc_order AUTO_INCREMENT = 1000;

Re: <H1> Tags Opencart 2.0.1.1

Hi Chris,

The file you will want to edit is the template file header.tpl

The location of this file will depend on what theme you are currently using. A general path is catalog/view/theme/<THEME NAME>/template/common/header.tpl

Re: Free shipping

Hi, Assuming you are using OpenCart 2.0.1.1 the following will work. Edit the catalog/model/shipping/free.php as follows: Change the line if ($this->cart->getSubTotal() < $this->config->get('free_total')) { to this (change the less-than sign to a greater-than) if ($this->cart->getSubTotal() > $this-...
