Re: Simplify buying free supplemental item

If you end up using OpenCart 2 or OpenCart 3, I have an Auto-Add Products to Cart extension that can do what you're looking for. You can set up the product to be added, and the triggering conditions (e.g. when Product A is added to the cart, it will also add Products B and C). You can choose whether...

Re: Looking forBUG FIX 3.0.2 version

There is no 3.0.2.1, I think he was thinking of 3.0.3.1. Unfortunately, that version doesn't actually fix most of the bugs in 3.0.2.0, and introduces some new bugs, so it's not really recommended either.

One day, we'll have world peace and a bugfixed OpenCart 3 version. :)

Re: Email service providers with OC integration - are there any?

My MailChimp Integration Pro does have ecommerce integration, and can send cart data and order data to MailChimp. You can then use the products in the newsletters you send out, as well as set up abandoned cart automations or order follow-up automations. Feel free to take a look at the screenshots an...

Re: Forums are completely broken

Moderators have mentioned it in the moderator sub-forum, but no one that has the power to fix it has done anything about it. Maybe if people post here about how frustrating this is, someone on the OpenCart team will take notice.

Re: Fix for PayPal Express not showing the shipping price

I've adjusted the code so it should work with whatever currency the customer has chosen. I haven't tested it, so let me know if there are issues with it. On a related note, I've just released an extension called PayPal Standard Improvements , which breaks the shipping cost in the PayPal Standard pag...

Re: Need help with Shipping Module / Extension

If your rates are based on the entire cart, Formula-Based Shipping supports taxes, weight, dimensions, postcode, and distance, so it sounds like it might work for you. If you need those kind of rules for different products and categories, Category & Product-Based Shipping is an upgrade to that. If y...

Re: BCC of customer order email

Make sure you refresh your ocMod cache in Extensions > Modifications, in case some other file is modifying that same file. If that doesn't fix it, try this edit: IN: /system/library/mail/mail.php AFTER: $header .= 'From: =?UTF-8?B?' . base64_encode($this->sender) . '?= <' . $this->from . '>' . PHP_E...

Re: Installing GitHub repository on ARMHF

You generally want to download the official release from the Resources > Download menu at the top of the page. However, OpenCart doesn't do a good job of releasing bugfix versions, so both OpenCart 3.0.2.0 and 3.0.3.1 have some bugs in them that need to be fixed. There are fixes for most of these on...

Re: Installing GitHub repository on ARMHF

I don't have any advice for you, other than if you're going to use a github version, make sure it's an official release. If you use the master code it's always changing, and you're likely to end up with a broken and/or buggy store.

Re: Coupon to order total and not to sub total

Yes, the extension should be unaffected by custom themes. It should also work with one-page checkout extensions, though the coupon box my extension adds to the checkout will NOT show up on a one-page checkout. Most have their own coupon boxes, though, and it usually works with that. If you do have a...

Re: Coupon to order total and not to sub total

There's no setting for this in a default OpenCart installation, but Super Coupons can do it. You set up the discount you want, and then use a rule like this: Rule: Total Value = Total That will use the full total at the point of the Super Coupons line item for any total-based calculations, including...

Re: BCC of customer order email

I think this still works, though I haven't tested it in a long time. If it doesn't, take a look at the file and the edit it makes, and then look at the mail.php file in OpenCart 3.0, and you should be able to figure out where the edit goes.

Re: Open Cart 3.0.3.1 - won't load /theme/custom/stylesheet/stylesheet.css

OpenCart 3.0 has Twig caching enabled by default, so you probably need to clear that. You do that using the gear icon in the upper right of the main admin dashboard page. You can also turn the caching off in there, which I'd recommend if you're working on your site. If you have any extensions instal...

Re: Extension Installer Error "File could not be found!"

I'm not sure about how to fix the installer, but if the installer won't work the only option may be to use FTP, unfortunately. If you don't know how to do that, there's a tutorial here: https://opencart-training.com/installing-modules For uploading ocMod files, you can rename those to extension_name...

Re: Scam Opencart Security Email Do Not Follow Links

I received some of these as well, and was going to post a warning in the forum, so thanks for doing that. Fortunately mine all went to Spam, but if it didn't go to Spam for someone, I could see them being fooled by this. Hopefully spreading the word will help prevent OpenCart users from getting fool...

Re: Echo SEO Product URL in OpenCart 3.0.2.0

You may need to set the URL into a variable in the controller file, and then call it in the view file. For example, you'd do this in the controller file: $data['product_url'] = $this->url->link('product/product', 'product_id=' . $product_id); and then do this in the .twig file: {{ product_url }}

Re: New order of menu in Admin's dashboard

You could try editing the controller file yourself, to reorder them as you want. In OpenCart 3.0 it's this file:
