Re: Newbie learning how to use Opencart

After reading the "wiki" I would like to understand why my post: Basically it is good practise to create a new theme directory under the catalog/view/theme/ and just copy across (from the default) those files that you want to change. Watermark reference in image.php

Just wondering whether there is somewhere that a watermark is able to be activated for images.

I noticed the reference to watermark in the above file under system/library - is there somewhere to "trigger" it???

Cheers

Re: Templates from Russia

Do you have a place where we can see your templates??? Would be nice to see more of the templates you have created and perhaps with some prices, or do you only create "on-demand"?

Cheers

Re: opencart 1.4.7 background change not working

If you have another theme directory besides "default" then make your changes to the css in your own theme. In fact this is preferred - that way you do not interfere with the original style and template files and if you need to you can always roll-back. Find the css file under catalog/view/theme/[yrt...

Re: opencart 1.4.7 background change not working

If this is the code you took from your .css file - you haven't put the "dot" before jpg. also:

Code: Select all

background: url('../image/filename.jpg');
note the single quote...

Other than that it should work as the long as the graphic is in the associated /yrtheme/image file

Re: Center Div in Stylesheet.css??

use "test-align: center; instead of float:left; or just /*float: left*/ which will maintain it in your style in case you want to revert.

Bear in mind that what you do could affect something else on your page.
